Where would you like to go today? What would you like to do? Here's a collection of places & things to do that are all close.

Najac Another beautiful hillside village not far from Camp Del Mas. Several good places to eat. (We particularly like the Pizza place on the left as you drive up the hill. Good food of all types with large portions & low prices.) A nice Sunday market in the summer.

St Antonin Noble Val  A very old village. A large Sunday market, a growing number of interesting shops and a cinema that shows all the latest films in their original versions for €5.50! Also a good place to rent a canoe for paddling the river Aveyron.

Gaillac This area just to the South of Camp Del Mas produces some nice wines. A pleasant day can be spent touring the countryside and the wineries. Check out the link for some suggested routes.

Limogne. Nice little town with a good Sunday market, less crowded & more down to earth than St Antonin. They have a truffle market on Fridays in the winter. Excellent people watching cafe & a very nice gourmet shop.

Parisot  Not to forget our local village. There are two bread shops, a general store, cafe, an excellent hair dresser and a nice restaurant in the village. There is a very nice church and a beautifully restored chateau. Just outside the village is Lac Parisot, a 6 hectare lake with fishing, swimming, paddle boats, sports and a cafe in summer. Supervised swimming area in summer. Just down the road in Cornusson is a restaurant where you can get a 4 course lunch including wine & coffee for 12€ . Hard to beat!
