 Larger Towns
There are a
number of larger towns and cities within easy driving distance of Camp del
Mas. Here are a few comments about each and a link to the town's website
so you can find out what's going on.
Toulouse

The rose city, a city of Universities, an
aerospace center, all in all an excellent city to visit. Great restaurants,
shops, museums and history. Check out the wonderful cultural events.
 Albi

Do not miss the cathedral or the Toulouse
Lautrec museum next to it. Also, try visiting the markets - there's one
every day. Have lunch! This is a great place to eat in.
Cahors

A favorite place beautifully
situated on the river Lot. 'The' bridge is a must see, especially now after
the recent renovations. Don't leave without trying the local wine; its
justly famous.
Montauban

A nice small city. Walking & shopping in
the old center is great. There is one of the best calumniated squares we've
seen. If you like jazz check Montauban out; its a real center with some top
name festivals in the summer.
Villefranche de Rouergue (

Our 'local' town only 20 minutes away.
Located on the river Aveyron is a large medieval bastide city. The Thursday
outdoor market is one of the best in SW France, we go every week. There is
also a good selection of supermarkets and other shops. Its a friendly place
and easy to get around and to park.
